“The Children Thank You” was founded in 1998 by Randy Leiker after his daughter, Crista, had successful eye surgery at Children’s of Wisconsin in Milwaukee before Children’s of Wisconsin Neenah opened in 2001. He wanted to find a way to give back to the talented medical staff who had helped his daughter. An endowment fund named “The Kids Thank You” was established and is administered by Children’s of Wisconsin.

Today, we are a group of volunteers dedicated to raising funds for Children’s of Wisconsin. We have no paid staff and 100 percent of the money we raise goes to them.
